PRESS RELEASE: Attorney Brandon Walecka appointed to Dartmouth Council on Aging Board of Directors

Dartmouth, MA – The elder law and estate planning law firm, Walecka Law, P.C., is pleased to announce that Brandon Walecka, Esq., LL.M. was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Dartmouth Council on Aging on November 27, 2023.  The Council on Aging Board is an advisory board in which members are appointed by the Select Board.   The Council on Aging designs, promotes, and implements services for older adults in Dartmouth and surrounding communities. 

With nearly twelve years of experience dedicated to estate planning and elder law throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod, Atty. Walecka’s expertise and passion align seamlessly with the Council’s mission. 

His professional career demonstrates his commitment to advocating for the aging population in our community. His experiences have afforded him a deep understanding of the legal complexities surrounding our aging population, along with the ability to provide strategic guidance to older adults, people with disabilities, and others in need in our community. As a board member of the DCOA, Atty. Walecka aims to leverage this expertise to ensure continued support for our aging community here in Dartmouth. As a dedicated supporter who is well acquainted personally with the DCOA, he has served over a decade as a volunteer providing monthly miniature legal consultations, giving lectures, and writing articles for their monthly newsletter. Finally, as a lifelong Dartmouth resident, Atty. Walecka understands the value of, and is deeply committed to, providing resources and support for older adults in Dartmouth and surrounding communities.

Atty. Walecka’s leadership, communication, and analytical skills as a practicing attorney have allowed him to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals and professionals in our community.  He is enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute his knowledge and energy to the DCOA Board, and he is eager to actively participate in advancing the Council’s vital objectives.
