New Beginnings

Written By Brandon C. Walecka, Esq.

After serving his clients throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod for nearly ten years at a mid-size elder law and estate planning practice, Attorney Brandon C. Walecka is delighted to announce the foundation of his new independent practice, Walecka Law, P.C. “I am elated to take the skills and experience that I have acquired in my large volume practice and apply that to all of my clients in my independent law firm. I am so excited to employ a personalized, direct, and comprehensive approach with all of my clients.”

A 2011 graduate of University of Massachusetts School of Law – Dartmouth where he obtained his Juris Doctor (J.D.), and 2013 graduate of Stetson University (St. Petersburg, FL) where he obtained his Master of Laws degree in Elder Law (LL.M.), Atty. Walecka brings expertise, experience, and enthusiasm to all of his client interactions. “I feel uniquely qualified to serve families and seniors with my ability to listen and discern their needs, explain complex issues, and help them navigate the issues of aging.”

Atty. Walecka will continue his practice of elder law, providing services for estate planning, asset protection, probate and trust administration, guardianships and conservatorships, wills, trusts, MassHealth benefits, and long-term care planning. He also serves on the board of Bristol County Estate Planning Council (BCEPC), a diverse community of estate planning professionals in greater Bristol County. He is also President-elect of the Massachusetts Forum of Estate Planning Attorneys, a local group of other estate planning attorneys. He has been recognized for the sixth consecutive year to the Massachusetts Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers®, a Thomson Reuters research-driven, peer-influenced rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

When not serving his clients, Atty. Walecka enjoys spending time with his wife and their toddler son including enjoying all of the wonderful activities that Southeastern MA has to offer. He also is an avid reader, enjoys films, and dabbles in making and sampling specialty mustards.

Atty. Walecka is currently booking appointments either virtually or in person and looks forward to serving members of our great community. Please read some of his blog posts on WaleckaLaw.com, or reach out directly via email Brandon@WaleckaLaw.com, or phone 774-203-9003 anytime with questions!
